Dueling Libyan Governments At Odds Over US Airstrikes

The State Department stressed Tuesday that U.S. airstrikes against Islamic State of Iraq and Syria (ISIS/ISIL) targets in Libya had been carried out “at the specific request” of the Western-backed “government of national accord” (GNA) in Tripoli.
